I’d probably budget 1500.00 for the job get the fly wheel skimmed too if she’s hours on. Check any input shaft seals too

Cheers for that. Clutch Slave cylinder above pedal is leaking slightly and brakes are spongy. Few things need tidied up. Hopefully get to ring them this week

Unless they are crazy money id buy a new flywheel rather than skim the old1. Also the 1 above the clutch pedal is a master cylinder.

Thanks Davey i see u can buy new seals for the master cylinder. Wonder would they be a success. There not girling so leaves me doubtful

In the masseys we run a fly wheel isnt big money and i find ye get a longer service life out of the new clutch with a new flywheel

Never had a problem with skimmed flywheels if they’re within tolerance. Suppose like anything it depends on who does it.

I'm quite sure you can only skim the flywheel twice if you haven't had the tractor from new then how do you know how many times its been skimmed..I'm putting a new clutch in my 885xl I skimmed the flywheel a few years ago but now I'm putting a new one in

Someone skimmed a 674 flywheel for me years ago and only did the wearing face. Schoolboy error and not long before the new clutch slipped.
