Case mx110 lift problems

Hi, I recently bought a 00 case mx110 having been John Deere all my life.
I’m having trouble with the pick up hitch not releasing. The lift arms seem to not be lifting high enough in the cab but will lift a small big more when using the buttons on the mudguards which will then allow me to release the hitch.
Has anyone experienced this before.
I wouldn’t be overly familiar with the case either.

Switch behind seat on console is used for using PUH. It allow hydraulics to lift higher. The idea is that when using hydraulics on say a plough then you are never putting strain on the hitch rods
