We have a T6 175 6cyl NH. What is its equivalent in a Case? Do the case have the dynamic command gearbox? Was told today that case make a tractor for Landini! Is that true and if it is which model case/nh?

The old CASE Maxxum equivalent of the 6 cyl T6.175 was the Maxxum140...……………………...The new New Holland T6.175 is a 4 cylinder engine, The T6.180 is the new and only 6 cylinder in the T6 range.
Their CASE cousins are the Maxxum 145 (4 cyl) and the Maxxum 150 (6 cyl) And their version of Dynamic command is the Active8 gearbox.

Havent got a clue about the Landini link, thought they were just blue McCormicks.

Yep iv just got an active 8 maxxum same as a dynamic command. The gearbox is very good, a lot better than the electro shift in the older ones. Makes a nice loader tractor. When baling in B range you can slow right down to crawling speed in B1 (to take lumps in) or fly along in B8 when the going good without changing range

If you had the choice of a t6-175 or a t6-180. What would you have? Been told that the 175 is very economical. Does the 180 have more grunt on hill’s? There is not much difference in price.

Don't know but if got a 4cylinder case version that replaced a 6 pot nh and when your forming a bale (Welger 445) the NH used to die away when the bale was getting heavy (I like plenty in them) the Maxxum just puts the boost light on and keeps on going. Very gutsy tractor, I was very sceptical at first mind

I've got a maxxum 145 active drive 8, put it up against a 6 pot t6.175, there wasn't much difference other than fuel usage with the 145 being far more frugal in that department, would love to put it against the 6 pot 150/t.6.180 for a comparison
