Does machine work okay? maybe just a switch failed. some machines now have accumulators on the steering circuit so might be that gone? or if its not working then maybe a pump failed or if a single pump then maybe the steering priority valve? I dont know the machine at all so i can only guess, i never really see CAT handlers. I got a local 13metre one that someone bought recently to go service sometime but thats it, never worked on any CAT newer than the TH62 and there very old now!
