Their website quotes there vat number at the bottom of homepage, I just checked it online and it came back invalid.

There's a tractor on there I recognise as well at a dealer local to me, they'll be stealing photos off eBay and dealers websites, I might ring them up about it!

So how is the scam working? Are they assuming you will post a cheque for a non-existent machine without going to look at it?

I'm assuming they must be, i know someone who got scammed, they had gone to great lengths to make it look legit even set up a website for a transport company who was supposedly going to deliver the tractor. I also know of a dealer who had somebody actually turn up to collect a tractor they honestly thought they had bought and paid for. Lot of it about, if something looks to good to be true it probably is

That is BW Tractors address!!!

Brian Willis ex of Willis Bros now BW tractors,I can't imagine he would be involved in that type of scam so someone must be trying to use a valid address , wonder if its his VAT reg as well

I wish i had seen this site first i checked on acs and thought they were gen even a land line found a tractor i wanted they invoiced me then i see another one and it was sold then found another one they canceled the invoice and sent a new one so went to the bank and transfered 6700 i done this a few weeks before for a quadd and that turned up on the saturday done the bloke a tea had a chat and i was happy so thought it would go the same with these pansies but never turned up email were behind so will be a week later ...i looked on their site and its still for sale got a friend to enquire they sent him an invoice so then realised what they were doing so went and paid £1 to that invoice so its now fraud and i can get the police involved just got to print emails to prove intent bank ssid they can request the money back and wont know for 4 weeks and they wont freeze their bank account so im going to go to the bank and serve notice of intended procecution for money laundering fraud and aiding and abbeting on the bank manager he will then pull his finger out see what hapens there is a paper trail but do they want to follow it
