I've this for our yard. Been very pleased with it. Away from any power source so solar works well. Had it up since march. Pictures were better than I expected 👍Can record if needed but we have it as an alert system for anyone in the yard (or to see the old man wandering about 🙈)
We lost a rum good guard dog before Christmas so this, for now, is an replacement.

And I don't recon you have to pay over the odds for them , some Dear ones seem to have the same spec as the cheaper ones but a diff badge 🤷

What you got to lose at £25 , put one up and see what you recon ....

Can you use this sort of thing from your phone? How is that possible? Does it require a sim card?

App on phone 👍

Even I was able to work it out 😄

Can zoom in a fair bit but quality obviously deteriorates.

I'm fully aware it's not good enough to stand up in court etc, that's not why I have it.

We have an AP point mounted up right high outside the house, hardwired into the router so I've WiFi round the yard (and halfway down the field 🙈)

As long as the main router is working in the house then I can access the pictures and live footage wherever I like. When it senses movement, it records a 10sec segment and notifies me.

There are cheaper versions as mentioned above 👍. Not much to lose for 25 quid. I mainly went for this one because it had reasonable reviews and the app was rated as being user friendly. Also didn't have to pay a subscription (though that is an option for upgraded services)
