Hikvision HD cameras are good quality. You get what you pay for!
AMS it systems Scunthorpe fit a few on farms.

Just put 3 fixed cameras in, 2 for security and one for calving pen and very impressed with the HD quality and for the price we paid you won't go wrong or be beaten I imagine.

I know 90% of folks that come in the yard ,,most are landlords friends, spray and fert reps ,aquatences ect ,but on sunday late afternoon ,two guys who I found rather dodgy walked in asking about buying machinery ,could see them eyeing stuff up ,,im on the county crime watch scheme so put the word out about them ,,
Just thought something monitoring the yard ,A, for my own piece of mind to cover my own stuff and B just to keep watch for anyone else abit iffy

Thumbs up from me for Hikvision kit. I've 7 cameras in action and more to install in other parts of the farm like cattle sheds to watch the cows during the winter. The cameras with EXIR have cracking night vision making impressive footage.

I've them connected to a Hikvision NVR recording some important cameras 24/7 and other on motion detection.

Make sure your cameras stand out so people can see them. When someone comes on my yard, they know they are being watched.

Some cameras are connected via cat6 and some are connected wireless using Ubiquiti Access points and PTP

Any camera can be accessed using Hikvision's fantastic app on your phone/tablet whatever.

Set yourself up with a trade account from COP SECURITY https://www.cop-eu.com

Dont rely on WIFI as you will end up hard wiring in the end so just hard wire now with cat5/6 but cop will advise you on that.

That's why you use professional wifi kit and not rubbish.

It also depends on your run length and access. Anything over 100m needs a switch.

Cop Security use Dahua which are similar to Hikvision but Hikvision are better imo and they are better priced and easily available in many online stores.

120ft is nothing and if line of site is clear, wireless is very simple but tbh, a cable route would be my first option for that distance unless you have a very special reason for not going that way?

I hope your offering them at keen prices unlike a lot of Hikvision agents.

Prices near that of the Chinese market would be a bonus.
