Carbon boom on the JD sprayer was a bit nice - often wondered why composites are not used more in ag, not as expensive and many think, stronger, lighter and easier to repair these days, can see it becoming the norm

If there was what make DJI or other brands /?
There was nothing at the Drone Zone on Thursday afternoon (or the morning when I walked past it for that matter). One or two Spitfires flying around from Duxford. Maybe they scared the Drones away.

Wish I'd taken my Parrot Bebop 2 and Sky-controller with me. Might have had more fun flying and filming with that than going round the rest of the show. Awesome fun, good quality (Massively better than Mk1 version), very easy to fly and reasonably priced at £650 ish (less £80 cashback before end of June).

I only saw one Drone (Static), a six rotor at one of the stands, not far from the Drone Zone.

Anybody see any Drones flying on Wednesday?

I was there on both days and I did enjoy it but I don't think there was as many people about as in other years, it was dry and warm on Wednesday but a few light showers on Thursday but still warm

Re JD SPRAYER
I was under the impression that flip over booms are now illegal on new machines in the uk if the part that flips over is over 4.5 mtrs long when vertical or something around that . It was to stop machines hitting power lines when unfolding or folding .That outer boom would be over 6 mtrs if not 8mts by the look of it.
