Quick background as I've written on here about it before. Bought our first charmoise tup from @b12mct and used him on hoggs. Got 41 in lamb. We sold all the best lambs (average £55 store) and kept 3 little ones for our own use. I am very impressed with the carcase so thought I'd share it!
The 3 weighed 22, 18 and 17kg, born in may and just on grass. The 22kg one pictured and stats below.
Meat yield. Lamb in 6 bits no trimming. Legs 6.5kg, middle 7.2kg, shdr 6.6kg, neck 0.5kg.

Freezer ready. Legs 5.4kg, chops 4.3kg, shdr 4.1kg, shank 0.8kg.

Charmoise % of good cuts. Leg 39%, shdr 29%, chops 31% that's with trim, belly etc off.

We will be eating some tomorrow so i hope it tastes good.

Nice bit of intramuscular fat(y) What weight were they live out of interest? Did you sell the others store cause they were light weights or weren't finished?
We sell the vast majority of ours store. Location, work load and autumn grass being the main reasons. We sold all the best ones in September and kept these 3 back.

Sure is! I think he was champion at the welsh show a few years ago, or something like that!

He is a spitting image to one of my old stock rams who I think is coming up to 5 years old, putting him out with the ewes hopefully today or Thursday
Will try find a photo somewhere

@scholland great thread very interesting to see the results cut up!
Decent amount of eye muscle, specially coming from shetland influenced ewes
