Phew! I had some Kerb Flo 500 at £11.10. Had a shock when you posted £8.70 as never normally far out.

I used to avoid pendimethalin with our last sprayer (white plastic tank, ind hopper and wheel centres). Chafer steel tank/induction and grey wheels means I'm not fussed at all now.

I think aqu has some claimed formulation advantages as well as being nicer to use ? - Red Bateman with stainless tank isnt too big a problem with alternative cheap PDM apart from the white wheels !

will be a lot more on FMP in the future now we have kind of proved concept and seen it work and that farmers will buy online

I would like to buy next year's chlorothanolil when that appears online. Guilty of being a bit stuck in the old ways, combined with just bloody busy this back end.

Clive, is it not worth doing a deal or putting into place now so that people can begin planning/purchasing their early spring/T0 type stuff?

Lump of CTL, CTL plus triazole co-form, lump of CCC and a source of moddus or similar?

How does your supply arrangement work, do you not have to forecast what you want for it to be manufactured in the first place?

If you get your T0 portfolio in line and in a useful volume people can get it booked up ahead of time and thus aid manufacturers who will be more keen to manufacture and supply it?

yes - we are working on being able to do just this over the next couple of months, there might be a couple of "Black Friday" style deals and also some end of season / out of season type deals

There is a lot of work to do on Farm Marketplace over the winter, we have learnt a lot this last few months and proved concept at very little cost, it's now about making it better and improving the user experience based on the feedback we had had

Ollie, no forecasting needed in this situation, it is exactly the same as being an independent, somebody has always got what is needed at the right price .

Isn't CTL going to be in short supply in the spring ?

Rumours that a couple of CTL technical production plants are 'off-line' in China. CTL active ingredient is short.

I’ve bought mine already (see posts a few pages back) Not 100% sure how real the supply rumour are now but price was good so think it was still a wise buy

China factories were offline apparantley but they do seem to fix things or just build new ones fast out there !

Have been offered some for farm marketplace this spring but not confirmed or priced yet

A number of independents supply their own spray; I guess it makes making recommendations easier.

In this case however, if you do not forecast your use, you are relying on someone else to buy more than the intend to use and then dispose of the remainder into the marketplace for whatever money they can get?

Thus, I suppose buying groups are obliged to forecast what they want or it simply won't be manufactured?

Getting anywhere with the CLT etc? If not, I'm going to book some CTL and some teb, PGRs and epoxi from the usual suspects.

You can't post them on your open forum then?
Kind of makes a mockery of the thread.
