This was a household 'flock' but within a certain radius of an outbreak so understandable? Saw this video last night and wife had a fit of the vapours but I encouraged her to check the facts and after doing so decided not to cull our four hens in the back garden.

this is happening a lot bird flue but doesn't seem to get any press a farmer who used to post on here has lost a lot of turkeys just before xmas

The gassing gear for culling lives in our yard, they took it out just after Christmas to a big duck unit in Norfolk.
A friends oh works for Defra on animal health, says there is some ongoing at present.

What else do you recommend? BBC news?

Have to admit though, I watch a few such channels that offer alternative and esoteric views and it's all very thought-provoking. Thing is they're all US channels and it's when they do reports on UK stuff you realise there must be flaws elsewhere in their narrative.
