#1 daughter's preschool are doing farming this week, and we've made a few little videos about the crops etc. Target audience is 4, but actually it all gets seen by the parents via an online platform.

Can anyone recommend suggestions of things for them to do/ good online places for learning etc? Obviously there's tractor Ted, but any others?

It's an excellent opportunity to educate!

Thanks

Any flocks near you? Get wool and make things and if the rest of the school is rural encourage them to look for wool and do a brainstorm with picture of what could be made from wool.
you could do the same with grain/cereals but the uses are more known..
potatoes etc is another good one as it’s something everyone eats and every household would have Some of...
Brainstorm In pictures of what uses each product provides?

Loo roll tubes, bag of fleece, string.
Get them to stuff fleece in to the tubes, put a string hanger on it, and take home to hang up for the birds to take nesting material. All the while talk to them about the story of wool and the environment.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
