There seems to be an unofficial, but still very real, sanctioning against Australian goods by the Chinese authorities. I write 'unofficial' because the Chinese dictatorship (the CCP) have not openly stated that the sanctions are happening, but a Chinese state-controlled newspaper - not that there are any which aren't - has written of Australian goods being targeted. The Australian Gov't are being very diplomatic in playing any problems down, but the general feeling seems to be that the Chinese dictatorship resents Australian criticism of their handling of CV-19. I'll be grateful if any of our friends in Oz will let us know the gen' about this down there, and any more on the matter.
Following the US election, I think that the world will find China, under its dictatorship, far less friendly than hitherto. Anyone thinking it is benign is deluding himself, it will keep pushing in every way it can to undermine the democracies.
