Chosing Hedgerows for Hedgerow Management (CS)

Hi all,

Quick question regarding Countryside Stewardship options.

What would be factors to take into consideration when choosing Hedgerows for the 'Management of Hedgerows' (BE3) option.
Simply put why would you choose that hedgerow over others for the management option.

Any help appreciated.

It's an easy one to comply with as hedges tend to stay in place for many years so it's just trimming and keeping gaps below 20m

Don't put hedges in that have a high proprtion of Elder, Ash, Hazel, Wych Elm or any other species that produces stuff you are going to have to mulch up 3 years later..
