Does anyone know a good supplier for chrome rod? Need some suitable for a hydraulic ram, 50mm diameter i00mm long.

All sorts, sizes and lengths available through Kramp.. dont know how competitive they are..

Try your local hydraulic supplier - they'll get the rod for you even if not in stock. e.g. a few years back Cross Hands Hydraulics supplied me with some imperial rod from their stock - I was quite surprised at the time.

Tried Steerforth, see what they say.
Local steel suppler, £135 for 3 meters which is fine, but they need a minimum order of £500 to order it in.

metal hub, used them a fair bit some comes from a local supplier and he wont do me the same price...
