thinking about a purchase of this type of baler for silage,

I want the 80x70 bale as i think it will wrap better than a 120*70

Any user experiences of the claas 2100 RC

Don't get carried away with any ideas of fast baling as they aren't a fast Baler compared to a New Holland BB930 and density and shape won't be hardly there either but it's reasonably reliable with maintenance. Pickup's are known to crack around its mountings but easy to weld. Knotters need new roll pins every 8000 bales as will let go soon after so easier to replace before they go.
As any square Baler PTO shafts wear out far to quickly and are expensive.
Condition, condition , condition is everything when buying a square Baler so look carefully!!!!.

As for wrapping a squarer Bale will always wrap easier.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
