Has anyone managed to get a quote for a new combine for the 2023 harvest? Asked for an 8900 quote a month ago and told “ not yet”!

I wouldn't have a clue what a machine like that costs now but are we thinking this quote will start with a 3, a 4 or a 5? I would hope a low 4 but I am probably dreaming.
Be some hours put on the demo units then.Right or wrong I've no idea, but I understand there's been new combines bought for this year, old one traded out and gone, new one not likely to arrive now.
Wouldn't want to be in that situation.
Could they call force majeure on the contract with the part exchange already taken away? The situation is dire for both Claas and JD not able to build, at least finish , combines for this year. I understand both companies have been telling customers they will have a fully warranted combine for this harvest but second hand as they can find, and when the new machine is delivered the warranty will start from that season, so effectively they will be getting a season of free warranty.
Both companies have apparently been swapping machines with each other to make sure the right colour is on the farm this time.
I think they have actually done well if it works asa they could have called force majeure blaming the Ukraine crisis
