Claas Damper Diagnosis

We have just bought a Claas Arion 420 with 4800hrs and are suspect the damper is on its way out.
How can we confirm that this is the issue as the dealer may stump up for the cost of replacement if we can confirm it.

Are we able to gain access to the broken springs in the bottom of the casing through the starter hole or is it too tight inside to get a magnet or camera in.

Pull the starter you, you will get a bendy boroscope camera in.

Springs may still be in place but broken, should be able to assess condition though.

Anyone got a picture of what the assembly looks like when its split?

Found the broken springs using a magnet through the starter hole.
Its also full of greasy oil would this be from a leaking crank/ gearbox seal?
