What sort of money are these balers making? Got one in the shed that's not been used for a few years I'm going to pull out and clean off and do 100 bales to shine up then sell.

It's not mint but always stored under cover, complete except flywheel plastic guard is broken and was working well last time out. Got the wider pickup on it, owned from a few years old. (I know hard without pictures) cheers

Say youll have to do more than 100 bales to shine it if unused for several years.
Mine is 30 years old only does a thousand a year nowadays.
If l was offered 1500 for it they can have it straightaway. No demand for them ( any make ) around here.

Same as that but no top cover and no wheel on pickup. (Not quite as mint unfortunately) was sprayed with oil before it went in shed few years ago so hopefully will look better after a wash and few bales
Your description suggests early 90s (As you've said). Cover came on mid 90ish so was using that information to gauge it's age.
I think the 2-3k wouldn't be far out. Maybe 3 and a half?
Make strong money in farm sales this part of the world (all small balers do). A few dealers who export and cherry pick the best ones for retail.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
