We are currently looking at purchasing a Claas Xerion out here in New Zealand and we have the choice of the Tier 3 or Tier 4 machine, however the dealership isn't able to provide us with any fuel consumption comparison figures etc to compare the two machines. The price difference between the two is very significant so any feedback on either engined machine would be brilliant I believe the Tier 3 is a Cat engine and the Tier 4 is a Merc.
