Got the above machine which hasn't done a huge amount of work, although years out of warranty. It has removable tine arms that slide into sockets that are fixed within the main body/gear casing of the rotor. The socket has grooves/teeth within it which locate and hold the removable arm in place. I can't believe how much these grooves have worn. So much so that the tine arms have a lot of movement and are now causing the sockets to shear off.
Anyone had similar issues?
Looks like the only solution is fitting new sockets which looks a fair involved job with the 2 halves of the gear casing needing splitting. Probably best to fit a whole new set of sockets whilst its being done but ££££. Any idea of cheaper sources than Claas UK?
Thanks
