Quite surpring that, for an area I wouldn't normaly associate as a big arable area. Maybe I need to look around more when next in the area, or was it more to do with powering forage harvesters as you did.
Only one 1155 was sold into North Lincolnshire, to a large dairy farm near me. It's main occupation was to drive a forager too. It was traded in at a local MF dealer, in the early 90's, and was purchased by a collector from Holland.
A few more of the smaller 1135's were sold around here.

It took a whole 8 x 4 sheet to rebuild the cab .the front and back of the roof were shaped by an expert panel beater unfortunately he took a stroke not long after with a stack of his own projects unfinished.

No he,s still here but unable to work a big bear of a man who didnt suffer fools and spoke his mind. I was one of the few lucky ones , when he landed in to see the finished article his words were Aye yeave made a decent job of it better than I thought you would

Oldest tractor that we have on the farm. Ford / NH 7840. Gradually it’s workload has been reduced to moving trailers around the yard at harvest.

Never missed a beat and only got 5000 hours on the clock. Can’t seem to part with it.
