There's nothing to attach them to anymore, cabs falling apart with rustLooks like you could do with some new wings on the old girl.

Last job before it goes on the straw chopper for the winter. The only other thing it does these days Is roundbale with a RP12 which we've had since 1990. I don't remember the hedgecutter arriving hereView attachment 838324View attachment 838325
Yeah it's not much fun cutting on a main road with thisSimilar to my outfit, but mines a 7610 and a left hand cut, cabs in the same condition though.

I learned how to drive a tractor on a 65. A lovely tractor to drive. maybe it wouldn't outpull a Fordson Major but so much more "refined" somehow.Shed full of fergies ranging from 1960 to the present day all still "doing a bit"
Certainly not a lugging tractor like the major, but the engine and hydraulics are as good as any modern day machine.I learned how to drive a tractor on a 65. A lovely tractor to drive. maybe it wouldn't outpull a Fordson Major but so much more "refined" somehow.
We had a 233 HD on our pig unit brand new back in 1990 got swapped for a 245 hdk which we still have today. The 233 had a lovely sounding six cylinder kubota but ate head gaskets! Always ran hot! Ours was road registered in 1992 K299 BUJ from memory.Doing a bit of restoration work on our latest purchase. Thomas skid steer.

That was when proper horses of just 230hp could pull 7.4955a on seven furrows back wView attachment 840736hen the sun shone!
Easily. Pulls more when goings goodThat was when proper horses of just 230hp could pull 7.
Neighbour of ours pulled 7 and a press with an early 8100 for years and often in some pretty marginal conditions . Now he has 10 and no press on a 500+ Hp quad track .That was when proper horses of just 230hp could pull 7.
Several 4955’s and 4650 / 4850’s around here in their day with a minimum of 7 furrows no problem, some more.Easily. Pulls more when goings good
