Nice bit of ploughing Willy, lovely looking ground too just begging to be drilled with w wheat . If you get fed up with the clusters you could try grain ,no money in it but a handier life !!!!! Great looking 590 very clean.

Thanks @Cowcorn . If the ploughing had been sh#t,there’d be no picture. Love ploughing myself. Once got a boy with a 5 furrow Rev. He ploughed it 12” deep and buried all my topsoil! Plus I gathered stones for a week.
BTW,it’s only a wee 565.

First reg 1979. Never painted.
Used to be a bugger to start but got the head done at 5k hrs. Now starts with half a turn.

And the best thing is that the hedge trimmer can stay on that tractor until 2020 if necessary.
Probably only 4 days work if it all happened together.

It is actually the Perkins 6 354.4, but it does chuff well.

Once, Perkins offered engines from 99 to 560 cubic inch yet the 3-152 and 6-354 were the best!
99, 108, 144, 192, 199, 201, 236, 270, 288....
