Evening Penfold, very tough going bottom gear all day today. You know what they say about these modern beet harvesters. That is a 75 acre field with a 75 acre rut in it! Finished the land tonight just the headland and another 6 acre field to do.

Trip to cotswolds yesterday to save this Allis Rota Baler from the scrap man, been sat in a shed for many years it was all that was holding the barn up apparently. Got it home and it ran up fine. There are 3 others local to me we are planning to get all 4 side by side in the summer which will be a sight to see!

A Bigger swath on them seems to feed better for some reason, it likes them bigger! Found that mine might be a bit more unique than the others and could be a later white top model which could be one of few, or even only one in country but would love to find out!

I find working my one with the ED40 very awkward, Trying to pull the hand clutch with your right hand and looking over your left shoulder. A double foot clutch is much easier.
