Now I’m interested. What is the little button on the side of the front cowl? I seem to remember JD tractors of the 70s and 80s having that.

And where is the air intake stack?
Sorry cant help you with the info that you are looking for.
I is a Belgium spec tractor so maybe different than the UK ones. It on arrived in from an other farm a few days ago not driven it yet. It is on log splitting duty's at the minute.
Will ask the boss about the button in the morning

Did the yellow beam have an altercation?.
Oh yes One of the spud mans ,lads decided to try and knock down leantoo , with industrial forklift , was going to cut it off and put a bit in but their maintaince man decided , pepperpot and big hammer was better method ,so when he back next week will get it painted ,and have cut some tyres and made some plates to bolt them together round post ,
will look for pictures of middle post when 2 years ago , different clown was getting boxes of stack to load trailer ,and shot out of side of leantoo , with mast half way up , and hit middle post , and bent it that bad it shook 2 light outbof roof and bent girder and pulled shed down a foot ,
two other trailer boys had told him to slow down , and their manager had told him too , then bang later in day ,🤦🏼‍♀️
dc T Was instant Had to cut that one out ,

Are you sure? I didn’t think hydrostatic steering came in until the 10 series in 1981. We had 6600’s without power steering and a steering wheel that filled the cab.
Yes sure , no pas on mine ,the real mccoy with an orbital instead of steering box .
that and the dp was good but tbth
Glad to see the back of the noisy torque less poor gripping thing . traded it for a low houred ursus 4514 (4wd) older MF tech based, which is one tractor i wish i had never sold ,traded that for a nh tl90 manual shuttle  which was a hot noisy bouncing borsteward:oops:,engine was ok mind, iveco turbo.
