Hi @CJS this depends on which model of Sulky you have and whether you have the speed increasing kit.

I'm guessing if its a 3m SR Drill then you have the newer Sulky with the RDS Ultron control box and the speed increasing kit. When you start the Ultron its will go to 35, you need to reduce this to 15 for small seed and then calibrate. Also you will need to put the green shields in and change the deflector on the fan to reduce the fan speed.

There should be the entire settings on the sticker inside of the seed tray for the gears and leaver positions. When you're turning the shaft for the calibration make sure you use the top shaft on the red spider wheel holder as the one on the blue gearbox will not be accurate if the drill has the speed increaser fitted.

Take the time to get it level on the top link, front tines circa 6 inches. If its light/medium land keep the seeding tine very shallow to just part the trash and blow the seed into the tilth created by the front tine. if its heavier land then put the seeding tine slightly deeper to help create a bit more tilth but still keep it nice and shallow, I don't think we'll need to go chasing moisture this year!

If you're still unsure on calibration please call the Claydon Office and press 2 for Technical Support and the guys can get you sorted.
