Can i ask what you are replacing it with?
Yes. This is my fifth year of direct drilling and the soil structure has improved to the point where I have decided to go completely no disturbance so am now using a Simba Freeflow with Metcalfe points.

Good to hear of some making it work up here. I would like to move away from ploughing but we still let land for tatties, so not sure it will work or if I would actually see soil improvement.

I've done a lot of reading and internet research and by all accounts it will work where ever the sun shines and crops are grown. On my marginal land I would not consider going back to the plough, but then again I would say that!
