I know someone who spent all his working life at the local Ford car main dealer
I used to call him when I needed advice on fixing my own vehicle and I would get to hear other motoring topics
One night he told me his garage were fitting reconditioned clutches to vehicles and there were problems… clutches would not release because new clutch plate lining was slightly too thick
Clutch failure happened quite often
