If you get 1, you won't just use it for dagging - my sheep rarely come in without going through it - drenching, pour ons, vaccinating, drafting, mouthing/uddering ewes.
Love mine.

Not used for ours for docking but have used it weighing, drafting and injecting...but one thing we've found is it needs to be somewhere permanently setup ideally, to do outlying sheep you need flatbed, forklift... or deep pockets for their trailer!
Sheep seem to love it too:) they just run, unlike shearing where you have to man handle most sheep to the pen!!

I crutched 220 ignorant lumps of Charollais ewes through mine to make life easier for the shearers. I started at about 2pm and finished about 6pm, with just me and the dog. I was still fresh when I finished, whereas any other way it would have taken longer and my knees & back would be telling me about it for days.

Brilliant bit of kit, but not very mobile unfortunately. Now if only Rappa had built their mobile yard around one, that would be the ultimate sheep handling kit.

I've asked local fabricator (who happens to make the trailers for 1 of the alloy systems) to design/price me a trailer to my spec for the combi clamp. If he doesn't frighten me to death with the price, I'll post progress pics in JP1 stylie!

Did you get anywhere with the combi clamp trailer?

Just watched the Ritchie YOUTUBE video of the Combi Clamp , it is one of the roughest built pieces of kit I have seen, the welding is crap. Good design by the sounds of the posts but for the money it should be properly made
