above is Ritchie's price list - you should get some discount on these. You will also need some weigh bars and a weigh head.
Not easy to move about on your own - see post #40 on this thread.
I got the wheel kit with mine, it's not that bad to to move on your own. Its doable.

I have that . Ok for moving around a ring fenced farm but not road legal. We have also fitted a Ritchie supplied anti rock frame for load bars that's bolted to the combi clamp. Guess what ? Wheel kit no longer fits without some spanner work.

Not got the load bars, i have an iae weigh crate, only use that at home. Need to make a bracket to fit the prattley to carry weigh crate.

I've been wondering about load bars and moving kit,

I probably don't need to move my clamp much

But I'd like to put load bars under the crush part of my cattle handler and I'm concerned if the rocking and swaying when transporting would damage the load bars

I put ours on a trailer earlier thinking that it might work, but the step overhangs too far. So I can't connect the ramp to the clamp.

I'm still toying with the idea of having a fowrass trailer, with the clamp setup inside on weigh cells, then I could take a few back with me if needed, or take the quad.

Is it the trailer with the roof @sean m ?

Has anyone put a magic eye on a combi clamp to make it automatic? I like the build quality and simplicity of the combi clamp and if you could automate it simply it'd be fantastic

I really struggle to get my head round the Combi Clamp. I dose my ewes twice a year, and inject twice... I can't see the clamp being better/quicker than injecting in a long 3ft race? Good for dosing, yes, but I don't feel I could warrant it for that? I dose my lambs 3 maybe 4 times through the year - it'd be handy dagging dirty lambs though, but a gripper would be a lot cheaper for that job.
550 ewes and 150 ewe lambs currently, upping ewes to 600 next year and not sure after that...

It could come into it's own sorting the hill ewes at weaning, though - checking teeth/bags on ewes, then checking/drafting off ewe lambs and wedders accordingly. But again - that's 1 job, once a year (n)

I love making things easier... but I'm just not convinced it would make that big a difference (n)

A conveyer looks the best for general doseing vaccinating etc just not for weighing or maybe tailing but I see it is possible to tail on one.
It's on the Xmas list or a scotsqeuze.
I already have a combi clamp but find it pain full when the odd one refuses to go
Conveyer to around where you close the door for dagging would be perfect.

We pretty much do everything through ours except maybe batch treating smaller lambs. Really comes into its own if you’re doing multiple treatments, you clear as you go.
