How many tons of maize to produce half a million barrels a day?! All grain that could otherwise have been animal feed 🤷‍♂️ I expected wheat to have risen more today off the back off that announcement but did the market know yesterday hence the big jump then?

Been offered 320 barley now and 325 wheat may. Shropshire. Is that about right.
havnt asked about barley as none left to sell but seems wheat is more money the further north you go( north north yorks 330 ish may) ,suggested in response to a phone call from trader ring me when you can offer 10g/load ,he reckoned it was likely and wouldnt be long . Im awaiting the call.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
