Global maybe, but what use is that to the rest of us if China holds 75% of it, He's deliberately with holding a couple of important details. An Economists talking on TV saying that global wheat stocks are so high that even with the Ukrainian situation there's every possibility for wheat prices to fall , I'm going to class him as an expert so must be talking rubbish, certainly hope so

I couldn't relax, watching the fuel gauge go down and all that metal wear away, that's before the seagulls come and eat all my wormsA nice relaxing week ploughing in early October might be better than thinking about the blackgrass for 8 months.

I was just thinking, you are aiming for about a tonne to the acre more than me. Saying that I have had 4 of my most consistent yield years ever, no great records but hitting above my target year on year. Hopefully this year will be the same.I could. Id be thinking about the increased yield for next year, and not looking at hare coursers leaving greasy wheelings all over filling with water.

This year is not going to be vintage. I can see yields being uninspiring irrespective of the aim. I know we dont need much rain, but weve had nothing.
1st Feb to end of March 24mm
1st April to today 44mm
And it was dry enough over winter to have the spring barley in a month early. Add to that the heat etc.
