Soybeans threw the roof tonight, hold onto your hats, I bet £400 ex March/April will be on the cards soon....if you don't sell it all at £400 what do you want? I expect to fill my boots at that.

well I thought it would take the rest of the week, but it didn't even take 12 hours.....400ex, get it while it's hot. (unless you farm in cornwall or Northumberland, in which case haulage kills it a bit).

Soyabeans have been trading in the 14 - 15 dollar range since November. They are'nt any stronger now than they were two weeks ago. The whole oilseeds complex is over done. If you don't sell on this latest rally you are risking running right into the massive Brazalian harvest (brz upgraded again today) and lets not forget Argentina have 'only' been downgraded to just the 50 million tonne crop !

Yes massive crops but the boats are queuing as facilities are insufficient so there will be a physical shortage boosting prices.

Said I would not sell it until it hit £400 per tonne. Bottled it when it jumped up about fortnight ago and sold half what I had left at £391 and the rest at a couple days later at £395 for May. Should of held out for what I originally said but still very happy. Personally think people are mad not to sell at £400+. Was not that long ago it was down below £360.

don't get angry and frustrated about somthing you don't fully understand. The ex farm price is derived from a delivered price less haulage. Farmers in the middle of the country were getting 400, but the nearer one gets to Liverpool or Erith, the less the haul, and thus the higher the price. On the basis his peers were getting 400, he should have been looking at403/404. Just seen the time of your post....wonder what your response is now your sobre?? PS- Only 16 posts how am I "The worst of any" what ever that means?

I thought I'd done well till Grain Buyer spoilt it for me, sob sob.

The price is £396 at the moment so I'm happy again!!

I will be delirious if we beat the French this evening and ecstatic if the Rams beat the foreign team at Watford.
