Combinables Price Tracker

What's ex farm price in Oz @TelesnaAg ? must cost a few £ to ship ... 10 days isn't it.

10 days!!! you wont get from the east coast to the west coast in 10 days!!! 3-6 weeks depending on vessel and route...

AUS price is pretty much smack on $500 AUS port delivered, thats 309 pound, FOB would be 10 pound max shipping closer to 5 pound - not sure of british port prices etc...so id say around 340 ish into the press..

I believe Viterra (Glencore) have a press in Netherlands so not out of question to go to UK...

Why on gods earth you wouldn't press it here and use the oil im not sure - the only reason i can think off is the meal is worth more in UK? we probably cant consume it all at the moment....

Ant....

Not sure about 2 UK boats, 1 is certain and will dock this week. The other 1 at the moment is rumour, and until I see it then I remain sceptical. Could just be Cargill trying to talk down the market! ;) Voyage is 4-6 weeks depending on speed and ports.

Shipping is approx $20 from AUS to EU but that varies as the market goes up and down.

You are paying £327x for as available?

Strong price (y)

Silly price, you can buy trade OSR at £333/4 delivered on a buyers call, FOB is worth less than £330, and yet Grains Guru is willing to pay £327 as available ex on an £8.50 haul.... which is more expensive than just buying the buyers call trade at £334.

Ive said before he doesnt have a clue what he's doing and stand by that assessment.

Yes I fear someone has got their delivered and ex farm prices mixed up :)

Do you now....?
You're the first one to pipe up and say 'I'll pay more than that'! 'I can do better than that' !!

But because you can't understand a price or you don't have a price you think 'someone' has got their parities mixed up. Think again.

If you can pay that then fair play, not finding any prices like that in the market, or on farm, so you must be buying a good chunk. (y)

Anyone 'can' pay it. But why would you pay it if you can buy something else cheaper on better terms?! Tbh if you're paying more than you need to for something you're not doing your job properly.

GG is Robin Appel isnt he? How much harvest as available do you want at £335 delivered?

If you want to pay me £9 more than anyone else, then thats fine by me.

go on then, book it. Lets have the first TFF open forum deal....how much are you selling.

2 loads. £318ex bid yesterday + £9 more than that = £327ex farm as available. Normal terms on oil, admix bonuses etc. I'm out with the children at the cinema this morning but Rob can call me after 1pm to confirm.

Markets look like trading down today, unfortunately. Chicago was down 15c/bushels ($5.50)/mt from LIFFE close last night over night, so expect a quid off wheat and OSR this morning:(

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
