Your positivity is not helping me.:(
Especially since you have some fantastic looking winter barley(y)
and mine is shite(n)

iirc, you have posted some pics of wheat which looks much better than mine. I would post some linseed pics.....except you can hardly see anything but bare soil. There is a limit to how much cheer I can have, constantly trailing over crap crops slapping more magnesium on them.

I feel your pain. I don't have much good wheat at all and most spring crops look cack as you would say. 50% of linseed is going to produce a crop, the other I'm not so sure.

What's wrong with £150/t? The chance of £151??
your right, nothing wrong, a lot better than I thought before harvest last year, but what will it be next december, as for before harvest 17 im of the view that it could gain a tad more or at least enough to take the risk for the bit ive left and one of my marketing pleasures is beating the company I deal mostly with pool price

The Kansas wheat tour finished on Thursday. The conclusion is that between extremely low 2017 wheat acreage and last weeks freeze they will be down 185,000,000 bushels on last year. That's a little over 5,000,000 tonnes

looking at the Kansas wheat tour reports
the western Kansas yields will be down but the central kansas looks good
there is plenty of rain in the usa so lower yields in other states for dry condition may be reduced from normal

the other factor is that the uk has a lot of gp1 what in the ground

most uk feed wheat has to compete with maize and barley unless we get good spec weight and hagburg nos

the weather in Europe east west and central will have a bigger impact on uk price
the usa has high stocks of their types of wheat

So who would sell harvest wheat at £150.00 now, if it were offered?
I think I would do a little bit.
id be tempted but looking round and about and further afield im going to wait ,at least until I can rub some out, its just a tad early to estimate our yield but cant see us breaking any records although some of our barley ears just appearing are surprisingly long with many grain sites

The barley here is similar, not quite as thick as I would like, but it does look promising. First wheats (with apologies to those on the drought thread) Look well, Late drilled 2nd wheats are starting to struggle, as is one field of winter oats for reasons unknown. :(

Man if you can get a 150 quid for wheat...i wouldn't look the gift horse in the mouth...you only need a trader to talk up the black sea yield and fall it will!!!

Lucky to get 100 quid in OZ at moment...because we are so heavily reliant on export...and do dumb stuff like import pork...while we shut down our pig farms...dumb as a bag of hammers...

Ant...

Can't get it yet, it was a purely hypothetical question.I do think it's attainable but can't see it getting a hell of a lot more. Merchant is already talking the market down.
