Just can’t get the top prices here in East Anglia.

Best prices I had yesterday were £186 for feed wheat Sept and £194 for milling Nov, south Warwickshire

That's good, I was offered £106 delivered into local mill Sept, probably should have done a bit but decided to see what Monday brings. It seems that there isn't much urgency to sell around here.

USDA report must be out in the last hour. Wheat down on yesterday with all exchanges now.

The USDA is a political organisation. Whilst their reports move markets they can’t be seen to fuel a fire of volatility.

Got £195 in our area today spot for group 4 hard. Price differentials are a crazy thing. @silverfox got £194 the other day for spot feed. He would be about 75 mins closer to Llay or Lloyds than me!

I'm finding a big difference between merchants. £5 in many cases.
Worth ringing round. All pretty much go to the same homes around here. Thank goodness for chicken farms.

It is on a min £20 contract which helps, obviously base price not top. Haulage brings it back.

Nope, as the original quote of 185 then came back to me offering the same 200/t Sept movement 20 minutes after I informed him that his bid was 15 pounds short

I sold some at £195 export spec malting with no claim/comebacks on nitrogen or retention (all between 1.7 and 2)

Must be worried about 1.8 % n malting barley availability as were offering £205 ex for sept collection around here on Friday .

I was happy at that and why I did a good chunk. If it goes up a bit I will still be happy, greed is no good and can bite us on the backside very easily. Couldn't wait any longer in other words.
