Has anyone got any quoted prices for wheat and barley in East Anglia/Norfolk????
I haven't sold a single grain yet and to be honest haven't followed the markets that much. Will it keep going up??? I don't need to sell any until the spring......unless the price is right.

Ah, but EU markets went up even more today, UK effectively lagged behind.......

Also, Egypt back in the market for more wheat tomorrow and Russian export tax going up every week...difficult to see much downside.

Those who do not drill wheat because of fertiliser prices today may come to regret it........

With paris matif trading at £244 now for wheat, i can see £250 ex farm for feed wheat will be available before the new year.

An extra £15 for starters.

We're also going to see premiums continuing to move up as UK wheat on all grades is cheaper than imported alternatives. And with farm sales not happening with any great pace then consumers have to keep increasing bids to attract more sellers. Best thing to do is nothing.

UK........580K tons sold first 3 weeks Oct21 (av£201/t feed ex farm) against 396K in same period Oct20 (av£182/t feed ex farm), so Farmers are selling.
Hard to understand the S&D situation, yields higher in North, yet prices and demand highest in North. Milling wheat we have just sold is all heading North on a three/four hour trip.
Going to sit on rest for now, but mindful this has only been a two month spike to date.
