His best bid for spot was £190 today, “harvest pressure” he said, my reply was “give me a call when it hits £210”.

Wheat yields are a touch above average, but not record breaking

I think your merchant will be ringing sooner rather than later but it may be for delivery jan-march

Spec weights are low. Feed wheat going into local store just over 72 I’ve been told. Anything with good weight might be worth keeping.

and we are similar with wheat yields so far but would have been almost record breaking if the fields we have so far cut had been full crops without the odd drowned bits but dont think the rest would have done as good
