Made from Camelina oil? Virgin were exploring this a while ago and Peter Glossop was trying to get me to grow some. A very niche crop with dubious reliability. Biofuel inclusion in aviation gas won’t be an easy logistical challenge.
Not only that, if I’m getting on an airplane and flying at 30000ft, I want full confidence that the fuel is fully reliable and not an environmental whim

It might curb international flights a bit if randomly, every now and again, all the engines cut out due to fuel issues.
It could end up making quite a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions, rather than just greenwashing!

Hadn't you heard, apparently the pandemic has had no effect at all, emissions nothing to do with flying...

If 2022 price for wheat keep going up then I will need some more fertiliser

235 delivered for wheat in the spring now

futures 227 May 22. 199 nov 22

the gap for now to old getting closer -29

who would sell new crop at 200 ex farm ?
Personally I’m always reluctant to forward sell anything until the crop has come out the other side of winter!
Everything looks well up to now but a long cold wet winter can soon change things. But £200ex is tempting even more so if feed barley gets anywhere near that.

Uk prices are still only just high enough to stop exports

if we had had a 13 million tonne harvest we could be another £ 20 up on todays prices

wheat is only 22.8 pence a kg
