Or rather what a time to be a commodity trader. whilst im not averse to trading in fact im sat on a may osr futures contract bought last harvest as we loaded ours out, but reckon growing the crop and trading should be classed as seperate enterprises. Any trading in futures should probably best be done with monies outside the farm . Its hard enough to make the right decisions re our harvest production ,( Or hopefully more right than wrong) I note we havnt heard a lot from those guys who sold some of last years harvest forward a year or more ago just hope for their sake they didnt sell futures as wellwho bought underpriced nov 23 futures we were discussing on this thread just a week ago then ?
just 2 x 800t lots would have make you over £27,000 this week
what a time to be a farmer !
I really wish I had done 10 lots now, I only did 5.who bought underpriced nov 23 futures we were discussing on this thread just a week ago then ?

I wish I'd bought Tesla shares in 2018.I really wish I had bought 5 years worth of fert back in June 2020 !
Of what ? fertTrader told me price destruction just around the corner.
This keeps getting mentioned. If it's in grain then you'd think bioethanol would get the chop first but this will then add to oil demand which in theory would push oil up and grains would follow again. Bit of a vicious circle....Trader told me price destruction just around the corner.
Or loose 27,000 if it went the other way?who bought underpriced nov 23 futures we were discussing on this thread just a week ago then ?
