In poor education news, life education is going to hit some like a train, when they realise they can't eat their phone, or latest TV etc. It would be nice to think that some will suddenly realise food is more important than most other things, and they need to budget accordingly.
Not likely, Love Islands on and it’s sponsored by just eat

It's ok. Liz truss has just tweeted that she and the US secretary of state Have agreed that Russia must release Ukrainian grain and let the two Brits go free. So that's that then. Move along. Nothing to see.
Just had some fecker running around in my winter barley field screaming for his dog.

I said sorry about the lost dog but why was he in the winter barley field. The fecker said "I bring him here every night to run around, because he likes running in the long grass."

They need culling, nothing else will work.

Our agronomist has said that the planted area in the ukraine, been reliably mentioned within the trade is that its down 40%.

i was told at cereals last week by someone who really should know that intention was to only crop 25% of ukraine area this autumn if situation re exporting didn’t change very soon

How would they ensure that happens? Is cropping not still down to the individual farmers?

is that one persons opinion or a survey of farmer planting intentions

i would predict that some farmers in ukraine will plant crops if they has seed and fuel
there is local demand
the big costs of fertiliser and spray come in the spring and they could just produce with very low imputs

my plan for the autumn is to plant as normal trying to second guess there markets is an impossibility
no crop in the ground makes no profit during the years of prices under £100 no crop planted reduced overall profits when prices increased due to unpredicted production problems

Mate working for agco out there said 60% planted on west side , a lot less as you go east , putin not allowing any maize to be grown in taken areas due to hide out for Ukrainian troops.

I heard similar for this harvest but the 25% intention related to this autumn if things don't change rapidly
