Got 2 wheel studs to replace on the front hub of a combine that have sheared off. What’s the best/easiest way of knocking them out

If splined remove the hub, heat around the stud hole ( avoiding the stud) then knock the damaged section of stud out - should be relatively easy & no need for sledge hammers or wild antics with hammers.
Do the same when fitting the new stud, heat around the stud hole, line up the splines & knock the stud in then tighten the nut on to pull the stud all the way home, cool with water then re-fit the hub. - no temper tantrums, mashing of threads & swearing

Were you on duals previous years? Many years ago (late 80's) a friend had a Claas that had cracked through and a 3 stud section of hub actually fell off when taking wheel off to repair a puncture. Studs still firmly in section.
Inspect hub closely.

Got them off with a big hammer and a bit of heat. New ones are back in with winding them in with a big bar. Thanks for all the replies
