2013 was a long cold spring, we were taking hay to sheep well into MayOnly another fortnight of cold shyte to go then
I can't think of another spring like this. Even the year of the Beast (2018) it had gotten hot by now - and we were well into a drought!..

Remember clipping hoggs at a place once. Tipped hogg out race and got to first hind leg and realised she was hanging a lamb! Got her lambed with a live lamb then finished clipping her. Fairly slows your tally down per hourYes we've had them lamb at clipping time, in July. Usually get 1 or 2 yowes that were scanned geld come off the fell with a young unmarked lamb at clipping gather
Used happen here regularly coz dad wouldn't take the tups outRemember clipping hoggs at a place once. Tipped hogg out race and got to first hind leg and realised she was hanging a lamb! Got her lambed with a live lamb then finished clipping her. Fairly slows your tally down per hour
