Commercial vehicles with rear seat conversions

What’s the score with the above? Any downsides?
They look good value and registered as a commercial might be cheaper road tax?
Any issues with insurance?
Have seen one advertised for sale and wanted to know if there’s any catches/disadvantages

Currently they benefit from cheaper road tax and reduced benefit in kind tax. If you don’t run it through your business as a company vehicle and pay tax on it. Then I can’t see the point. The seats are called “occasional use “ seats. They aren’t comfortable and aren’t that great unless you pay for the atlantech ones at 3k upwards. There are other tax breaks on fuel and lease payments too.
insurance is never an issue as long as you tell them.
I had Scott seats in my disco 4 ( I wouldn’t want to sit on them unless coming back from pub)
I had atlantech in my shogun commercial ( slightly better )
