What's price on that this year? I was feeding it last year but went to barley instead. For the money it just wasn't doing the job.

I stopped using there cattle feed though it was to dear for what's in it. On glw now.

The ingredient list was better last year. Didn’t think to ask whether it was the same this time.

Possibly? but they can only feed what gets sent to them. I can only talk from experience of feeding my own stock on their food.

cos he was ill ,he sent good cattle to berrystock but they did a bad job of them,the smaller ones left at home did much better on silage and just a bit of corn, asked me to find out about them

It’s not a finishing product in my book.

16% looks too high for the starch and energy levels especially if you are fattening tup lambs or mules

I’m not sure if it’s economical to finish ewes on anything but grass or something else cheap
The conversion with ewes is surprisingly bad which makes expensive cake or blend a no go unless it’s just for the last bit and the main of the condition has been put on with something else
To fatten anything you need starch energy and protein probably in that order
You should have an energy level on that analysis
