Hopefully having a new shed put up soon, 15ft bays with 1.5mtr high panels all around, i like the idea of having lugs welded on the posts for panels to sit on, but my shed builder reckons to sit them on engineering blocks, thoughts ?

We went with lugs. In hindsight we should have turned the angle the other way to provide more bearing for the panels.

I'd like to see the lug out past the web of the post. Normally tell customers to run the concrete out through below the panel a few inches when pouring the floor to give a good seal at the ground and provide good support around the post/ lugs.

I know of someone that just sat them on top of the slab and used a gazillio tubes of mastic to seal them, they all leak to this day even after he went round with another gazillion tubes of mastic ?
I thought as much.
I'm debating setting road forms up in the pannels position to concrete to, how do you keep exact concrete height with pannels in first? Use laser level plenty? Or get one of these firms in with level bar thingy? Are they dear?
