got a supply of stone, on farm ? All we do, remove topsoil, 12 ins stone, and get a contractor, who has a 'machine that grinds it down', cannot think what you would call it, but it does a fantastic job, £6 a linear meter, and they have a wacker plate, behind a tractor. We did 660 meters, with the £10,000 grant. One massive problem, didn't do enough, that will alter. Tracks, either stone, or astro turf, transformed our grazing.

The one with huge slatted cubicle sheds?

Whatever you've bought at least you're on the right coast now, it's much nicer down south.
Yes, that one. And yes, getting out of the incessant wind on the north coast was actually quite a large reason for moving! Although we will need to use a hedge trimmer now as more than grass actually grows on the hedges down there!

That is probably what we will do, can let me know who you used, either here or in a pm please?

several do it, but get several quotes, prices vary considerably, Creeds at yeovil, 01935862363, probably to far, for you, but seriously helpful, would have saved a fair bit, on preparation, if we had spoken earlier. We did a pukka job, topsoil, and ditch, some parts of the ditch, got included in the track ! A friend is a confident slew driver, so hired one, for 2 weeks, and 'sorted' a lot of 'odds' as well.

Are you going to pit a underpass under the main road to get to the other block of land? We had a look but was to small for us but it was a good farm.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
