Condensing oil boiler question

We have a Grant condensing oil boiler which we are looking at getting fitted as back up to the biomass in one of the properties.
It is designed to stand outside, but would like to put it into a utility area.
However it cannot be sited against an external wall.
Can the flue be extended to reach the external wall, approx 2m away?

Probably yes as long as it doesn't need any bends and can be straight as bends cost you length. You would have to check in the manual for the boiler to be sure as such info will be in there.

As above.. it's doable with the green system I think from memory. You need to get a Grant G1 installer to get the long warranty. (10 years on an external Vortex Pro) and they should be able to sort flue for you. It will be a bit of a headache and merchants unlikely to sort for you. Bit of a mix and match scenario. You can have the side or the back of the outdoor moduld boiler against the wall, best with the side though as the condensate trap is down the back and awkward to access from top only.
