St Boswells seemed to be a good trade today. Champion mule ewe lambs Ā£295,and Half Bred ewe lambs Ā£245 i think. A very good company of buyers present.

Ā£65- not happy at all. They were far better lambs than that. Jobs on its backside.
We sold some nice little beltex lambs fortnight ago at Ā£85 which i thought were dear. Had some more yesterday that I thought were slightly better made Ā£61 at a different mart. Would have been disappointed at Ā£71. Wife sold them, had i thought they would be that bad I would have told her to bring them home. Luckily only 20 odd so not a totall disaster.

That very poor job, hopefully ones this rain comes the trade will improve. I would be buy stores but literally have no where to put them.
